ok my program has me doing some sets of exercises which i dont know if they help increase mass
for example
one of the days i do bi's tri's abs


lying triceps extensions 4 sets

16
14
12

dips behind the back
20
14
12
10

barbell preacher curls
15
12
11
10

reverse barbell curls
15
12
11
10

i may be wrong but should i be doing so many reps?

Some exercises are designed to completely fatigue the targeted muscles. I sometimes incorporate higher reps. in my workouts towards the end, where I know my muscles have already been exhausted.

Follow your FT program. The rep. scheme is there for a reason.
