I read alot that it is important to change things up when you do cardio but i have for the last few weeks felt so comfortable with just running. I warm up by walking on the treadmill at a 3.0 pace for five minutes and then jog at a 4.2or3 pace for 20 minutes and then cool down for five minutes by walking and stretching. Then i go home and do the weight lifting this web site recomends. I am comforted with a routine that i could just repeat over and over but i will do whatever it takes to lose weight. My question is will it be less effective if i just do what i am doing and do i have to change it up to see the best results? sorry for all the imfo but i just wanted to let you know all i do to get the best advice.Thank you again

What would I change if I were you???????? I would do the workout first then go on to do your cardio. By doing your cardio first you are depleting glycogen stores that you need for your workout. You will not be able to push the weights as hard if you do cardio first. and remember, muscle burns calories even in a resting state.
