Anyone know how close to truth the online tool here for BF% is?

Mutt, it calculated mine at about 13%.Mybodycomp.com said about the same. Calipers we bought said 19%. Of coarse I didn't have on my trifocals so anything is possible

My trainer has been checking mine with the electronic 4 point system once a week for 6 weeks now. I just checked the FT online tool to see what it says and it's right according to what the electronic one says. I hope that's what you wanted to hear Mutt. Might not be right for everyone else but it's right for me. :-)

Calipers were pretty cheap. May be a good investment. My "picture of organization" wife promptly started a log which she will update monthly.

The online tool here offended me!
I'm sticking to calipers and the electronic ones...these vary less than 1%.
The online tool said I had 10% more bodyfat...so it better be wrong.

The tool here didn't come close to my electronic scale. It gave a 10 point difference.
Mutt, the 6 point difference between the calipers and the online tool is 46%! Mine is 18 on my scale and 28 on line here. Something wrong somewhere. 55% difference? Maybe my math is wrong?

hahahahaha Had to have burned a few calories with that laugh. :-)
Mutt - I bought one of them fancy dancy scales that
"supposedly" measures your body fat too. I can get on, get a reading, get off, move it half an inch across the floor and get a totally different reading. I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what the scale says, as long as it's going down that's fine with me. You are not your BF% anyway! You are Mutt, loved and admired by all on FT. *hugs*
