I have a question about my fat intake.... The Nutrition tracker thingy says I'm only allowed 21.3g of fat per day, but that I'm supposed to get 1732 calories , 131g protein and 262 g of carbs. I'm trying to lose some bodyfat, but not necessarily a bunch of weight. I take spin class for 50 min twice a week, and do 20 min of cardio (HIIT) for the other three days and I lift weights 4-5 days a week....I seem to always be able to meet or exceed the protein and fat requirements (mostly I have to work hard not to go way over on the fat) but have a difficult time meeting the carbs and even the calorie requirement. I eat 5 or 6 times a day and I always have lean protein and some carbs in every meal. Is my fat requirement accurate? It seems like it is a little low and that the carbs are a little high....any advice????

I think your carbs are way too high if you are trying to lose weight/fat. As far as your fat intake, make sure it is healthy fats, EFA's. Flax seed oil, fish oils, olive oil, even natural peanut butter in small amounts. Usually a standard that works for most folks is 50/20/30 macronutrient breakdown of their calories, P/C/F. It is a good idea to get your starchy and complex carbs early in the day, as the body metabolizes them better at this time, and drop them in favor of strictly fibrous(lots of green veggies) the rest of the day with more fats to make up your calories, as fat is better metabolized later in the day.
