I dont know what im doing wrong, im just not loosing weight I went to london and ate really badely and put on 15kgs as i only ate once a day so now I have stuffed up my once fast metabolism. now im back home and I go to the gym every day for the past 4 weeks ive been back 6 weeks.(I never did gym in my life before...I do cardio every day for 50 mins..cycling and treadmil and circut every second day but will do at least 20mins cardio on those days aswell ) In the first 2 weeks I lost 3kgs. but I havent lost any more since. I dont know what im doing wrong.my diet consists of: breakfast: I eat a bowl of special K and fruit with coffee. I then eat a salad with chicken or salmon or toasted sandwich for lunch. and at dinner I have lean meat and vegitables. during the day I might eat a small slice of cheese or a piece of fruit or a low fat pork sausage. I dont drink alchol or any fizzy drinks or take in any sugar. I drink around 8 glasses of water and a glass of milk at night.I dont mix carbohydrates and protiens at meals and wait for 4 hours before I eat another food group.I do take a diet medicyn which is supposed to increase your metabolism as my mom took it and she lost loads of weight.but its not working for me.
Please help I dont know why im not loosing weight

We need to know more about you. What do you weigh? What do you want to weigh? Are you lifting weights? What is your routine? It sounds to me like you are doing too much cardio. Your eating routine sounds strange to me. You need to eat 6 small meals a day that total your caloric requirement for the day. Do you know what that is? You need to eat high protein, moderate carbs and low fat. How many day are you working out (not cardio)?

I think your diet is what keeping you from losing weight.

A few tips:

1) Eat larger meals, more often: You probably barely break 1500 cal with your diet. I know it sounds crazy, but not eatting enough will make you fat. Your bodies metabolism will slow down to store more fat as it thinks its starving.

6 meals a day, consisting of good wholesome foods. You don't have a profile so I can't tell you what you need for calories, but if your getting anything less then 2100 a day, your starving yourself. Fill out a profile and it will tell you what your max calorie intake per day should be.

Ask any of the ladies here, they will all tell you the same thing.

2) Not mixing carbs and protien: I have never heard that before. I always thought it was a good idea to mix them. Your body needs both of them (and fats as well), spread out over the day. Your breakfast should probably have eggs and maybe some fruit. A snack about 2 or 3 hours later consisting of protien and some complex carbs ( I usually have a bowl of cottage cheese and an apple). You lunch looks good, but increase the portions, and some sort of car to it. Another snack a couple hours later (both protien and carbs), your dinner looks good too. And try not to go to bed on an empty stomach, thats muscle suicide.

3) Diet Pills to boost you metabolism: Just say NO to diet pills. The only way you can increase your metabolism is through eatting more often and exercising properly.

4) Weight lifintg is a MUST for fat loss: For every lbs of muscle you have you burn an extra 50 calories a day. So the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn.

This is the best advice I can give. If anyone else wants to add or tweak what I put down, please feel free.

i know the diet you are talking about, its the Suzanne Summers diet. Supposedly if you seperate your carbs and protein..they digest at different rates, so by seperating them they burn more efficiently.
As for Borpillicus, Fat Trapper's out?

You seem to be eatting pretty good food from what I read. Just eat more. Like I said, try to have 6 small meals a day. Mix your meals up a bit. Egg whites and oatmeal for the morning, cottage cheese is great for a snack. Lots of greens. Tuna and chicken are great sources of protien.

Your cardio does seem excessive. I think Mutt put it best when he said cardio is a double edged sword. Too little and you wont burn enough calories, too much and your body will begin storing fat. I would suggest 45 minutes a day MAX. Less if you can.

Lift more. Use heavier weights, and go for less reps. Don't worry about getting bulky, as it is difficult for most women to do.
