Anytime is a good time to excersie (more or less)but I think you might benifit more from your routine if you switch it. By doing the cardio in the morning you jump start your metabolism for the day and get the fat burning factory going. You will also benifit from your strength training more and reduce the risk of injury if you train when your muscles are warm (after they have been doing things during the day) as opposed to when they are cold(like they are when you first wake up). Try it and see what you think

Early morning is fine. Proper warmup is all that is needed. The bottom line, the best time to do it is when you can! Be sure to do it.

I personally like early morning. No excuses for one. As the day goes on, if you start getting a bit tired, it is easy to come up with excuses why you can't do it tonight. In the morning, you just get it done and out of the way. I also like mornings due to the fact that I have all day to nourish my body/recovery from the workout, rather than just one or 2 meals and go to bed.
