I think I am on a regular schedule now with work and school. My problem is I am not as inspired to train as I use to be? Does that happen often? When I first got into it about 3 yrs ago, I loved going to the gym on a constant basis. Now, I go through periods of a few weeks of making the commitment than stop for a month and the cycle continues. Any thoughts on how to keep the inspiration going?

Theresheis I to sometimes go through periods were I slip off the consistency trail. THis is due to working out at home, sometimes would just rather sit back and relax. However I know that by doing a good workout, I relax much more so that tends to be my motivator. Plus I train in the martial arts 3 to 4 nights a week so between teaching/training, the training at home gets easier. Just think back as well on how good it feels when you have been working out.

Theresheis, try not to give it to much thought. Just go to the gym and work out, you'll be back on track in a matter of weeks. It's just a question of habit, you'll become addicted to that great post-workout feeling again very soon. :)

(And if that doesn't work, just think of all of us sweating our asses off around here! You have no right to quit! :) )
