I've recently hired a personal trainer to guide me in the right track to gaining muscle, but I don't know if his aproach is a slow one-he's not realy telling me to lift heavy yet, but to do a warm-up cardio exercise for 10 minutes, then some stretching, some good form on the exercises-but as faras working out with heavy weights or designing a workout routine-nothing yet. He says I don't really have to lift heavy to gain muscle, btw he also changed my diet a bit. Oh, well, maybe is the way they train-I was expecting to et to the heavy lifting exercises and all that stuff-but I ended up like a beginner-start from zero again. Is his aproach too slow? He says building muscle is harder than losing fa, so it would take me about 12 weeks to gain 10lb of lmusle-is taht true? Or could it be done faster? Thanks
