i read a previous post where BB1 said that pushups will not add muscle unless your untrained, so I was wondering if I should do them as as suppliment. I do train my chest, but I wanna make sure I'm training it enough to grow. I do about 4 sets of 5 reps on the bench press, I do 12 then 10 then 8 reps on the dumbbell press, and 3 sets of 8 on dumbbell flies. I think sometimes my rest times are too long because due to a hectic schedule I'm usually tired when I exercise, but i wanna make sure I get a good amount of chest growth. I also don't wanna hit a lull where it stops growing due to becoming accustomed to the exercises. I don't have the capability of doping inclined bench presses, only incline dumbbell presses, which I've almost maxed out on ,weight wise (they only hold so much weight). The same goes for decline presses, which I don't do, but perhaps maybe I should. Can someone who knows about this shed some light?
