Ab work outs/Correct ways to do sit ups

Hey, Ive noticed in my program it doesnt give me any ab work outs, this is my first week though, but at the moment I am trying to work on my stomach, can anyone give me some good ab work outs, and/or correct ways to do sit ups to were im working out my whole stomach and not just a certain area. Thanks!!!

On the top menu go toft Excercice Resources, then down to Excercise ft TOOLS, then over to Excercise Glossary. Choose abs and it will show workouts.

its bad for ur back to do situps because i heard ur spine isnt aligned correctly if u do situps. I think ur suppose to hang upside down and then do sit ups. I THINK

Yeah, Ive heard there bad for your back as well, but I dont have the equipment to hang upside down, nor would i feel comfortable haha, but I heard crunches werent as bad, so I believe thats what I will stick with :] Thanks for the input.

Take Dracknem advice there is a great 12 week ab program that you can take on this site. I have been doing it for a couple weeks now and let me tell you, you'll fell it in the morning. Come with discription and illustrations to help you along.

Yes, I will be starting this wonderful program on Monday, I cant wait. Im somewhat new to this working out in this way, Usually its just a coach yelling at me, haha, So dont laugh, a repetition is like doing one, and then a set is like doing (I.E) 15 repetitions? And in this program I will be working with it Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so the other days I should be doing cardo? Just making sure I have all the details correct :]
