what are the main powerlifting exercises and how are they to be executed in a program?

The squat, bench, and deadlift are the powerlifts. As far as they are to be executed depends on your training status. Less experience lifters benefit from full range of motion training. The more experience you become, the more you have to build the lift as opposed to training the lift. Check out www.elitefitnesssystems.com for articles related to structuring a training plan.
