I've noticed on the last two weeks of my program that the bicep exercizes seem pretty redundant. For instance, last week, there were four sets of standing barbell curls followed by four sets of standing machine curls with a straight bar. Aren't those essentially the same exercize? I also noticed that for the following week there were four sets of some type of curl followed by four sets of the identical exercize. Is this a mistake or is there some logic to this?
Throw some hammer curls, pullups, concentration curls, and / or 21's in to break it up. My biceps grew much more when I varied the exercises from week to week.
