Ive been lifting weights, and biking for a couple months. Ive noticed however my appetite has decreased significantly in relation, even thought my activity levels have sky rocketed! Its at the point where I rather eat 2 light meals a day, and snack on some fruit in between. I have brought my portion sizes down significantly so I dont waste food too. This is not a mental disorder for me, I enjoy food, and dont feel guilty eating. I just feel nausiated when I eat 3 square meals a day. Is this a common issue when people change activity lifestyles?

When do you eat relative to your exercising? That could play a part in your problem.
-------------- Beleive you can, and you are halfway there.

Are you giving your self enough time to recuperate between training sessions? It is possible to overtrain, training so hard your body can’t repair the damage from one training session before the same muscle groups are hit with the next session (and so on). Common symptoms include reduced appetite, lethargy, muscle fatigue, lifts decreasing, and general depression. Make sure you have at least 48h before hitting the same muscle group twice to allow recuperation time, and at least 1 day a week off.

Carivan: I work out on my lunch break, so I tend to eat quickly directly after my workout.
Erirvine: I workout 4 days a week, but Ive been doing the same routine. I suppose I could be exausting the same muscles to much..

I was thinking about replacing my lunches with a meal suppliment shake. I think that may be what I need to make sure I get my daily nutritional requirements. Keep in mind im not trying to lose, or gain weight. Just increase lean muscle masss. So Im not going on the slim fast diet.. :-)
