In June I was about 165 pounds. I am a collegiate athlete and I have been training all summer before practice starts October 4th. I am lifting about 4 days per week moderateley but also am doing atleast 30 minutes of high intensity cardio 6-7 days per week. I have gained about 12 pounds since then. My diet is a good one meaning i dont eat bad foods. I just want to know if i am gaining fat or am i gaining muscle like i have hoped.
To aid you in your goal, you could measure and track your bodyfat percentage by using the chart on FT which is, I believe, located under your exercise profile.
Good luck :o)
I would also say to see how your clothes fit or even take measurements with measuring tapes. Muscle is going to weigh more than fat. So, numbers may go up bit you are most likely getting rid of junk weight and adding muscle.
