I have just run into a problem with my schedule. wy wife just went back to college and now i can't go to the gym on mondays and wednesday. i am not sure what the best work out schedule. meaning what body part on what day.

The best schedule is the one that works for you and that you will do. I don't think what day of the week matters. Try to work each muscle group once a week and not more than 2x in 3 or 4 days. If you can only get to the gym 2 days a week you can work upper body and then lower body. If you can get there 3 or more times there are a dozen different ways to split it. Workouts are individual and what works for one person may never work for another.
