Hi:
I have about 5 weeks until a sprint triathalon and am wondering how my weight training should be during this time. The triathalon is a 500m swim, 9 mile bike and 3 mile run. I've been weight training 3 times a week with this workout:
Monday and Friday: Bench, Incline, Dips, Lat Pulldown, Row, Lateral Raise
Wednesday: Leg Press, Leg Extension, Leg Press, Calf Raise
Abs every other day.
My question is if I'm swimming 3x a week, biking and running 2x a week do I really need to train my legs during this time?
Also, I like to do 3 sets of 20 pushup when I wake up and before I go to bed everyday. Is this hindering my muscle growth?
