Well after about 3 months of loosing the battle between fitness and vices, I'm feeling like I finally got the motivation to get back on track. During the last three months I've totally lost it, not eating anything good, going to starbucks daily, and not working out at all.

I think what screwed me over was I started a cheat day, no more of those for me. Also I think I was over doing it, for my real first time going to the gym 4 times a week and eating nothing but healthy foods. This time I've cut back to 3 times a week, but same fitness goals, although my meal plan is going to be more strick.

I still need a good meal plan, I've loaded up with myoplex shakes, and know not to consume much sugar, coffee, bad carbs, but dont have any written plans on what my daily diet will be. I wish there was somewhere I could say the foods I like, and have someone just create a whole meal plan and schedule for me, would be much easier.

Anyone else wanna share their experience with what has motivated them to get back on track, and also what threw them off track? Oh and if you know of a site, where you can I can pick the foods I like and have them create a plan, let me know!!!

Good work getting back on track!

I have met people that wanted to get in shape, so I would take them to the gym with me, get them started and try and motivate them. But usually after 2 or 3 weeks they give up because its to much work, and not enough result.

But remember, starting is one thing, sticking to it is another. Set goals and stick to them.

I've been off lifting for over eight months now and not by choice. I can lift a little, but not much right now, though at the rate I am healing I think I may be able to start again in several weeks. Sometimes I think to myself "is it even worth starting again?", but then I just tell myself, "man, everyday for the last 8 months you have thought about nothing but getting back into weightlifting, you have no excuse not to get started again!"

Good luck and train hard!
