How many of you hike?
I have found it a great way to add to my fitness.
Its a good thing to do on the off days too.

I personal don't hike..but my husband does and he loves it ,,he loves the outdoors...and enjoys being as one with nature...

I love to hike - also recently discovered trail running which was awesome! Unfortunately my partner broke her fifth metatarsal and shortly after I got runner's knees so I haven't done any more trail running. Maybe I ought to go back to good old hiking, thanks for the reminder, Intruder!

Yep, nothing like good old hiking.
The down hill side of it can be little tough on the knees.
I notice it realy helps my run times too. I like to carry a day pack with a coat, water and sometimes even take a lunch. Its good for the resistance too. I like the high country alpine type trails. Its just so awesum up there.
