Most "skinny" guys out there think they eat so much and yet don't gain any weight. I used to think (being a hardgainer) that I couldn't gain weight...until I kept track of how many calories I was actually consuming and the frequency of my meals. I would suggest keeping a log of what you eat and how often. The trick is to consume more calories than you burn. I haven't yet come across anyone who hasn't gained any weight from consuming 3,500+ calories per day!

Good luck!

what kind of calories, like is there a way to tke in all those calories without sat. fat anf things like that. My goal isn't to gain by getting plain fat. I don't want to sacrafice staying in good shape by taking in too much junk.

There is a way, but it takes dedication and planning. My husband is on a gaining cycle and has been eating between 3600-4000 calories with under 100g of fat. Yesterday he was under 80. You need to eat a lot of high protein/lowfat foods and good carbs. Avoid sauces, butter, mayo etc. Lots of chicken breast, tuna in water, eggwhites, cottage cheese and a good lowfat protein powder. Good luck with it.
