i read on this website that it's important to work all 3 parts of the abs on the same day, 3 sets each area. my question is do i do all 3 upper sets together, them move to next area or do i do 1 set of upper, lower, oblique, then back to upper for 2nd set and so on until i've done 3 sets of all areas?

i would suggest doing one upper, lower, and oblique, then repeating it 2 more times. i would suggest it that way because the build up of lactic acid in the abdominal area (burning feeling) doesn't take much to come into play. so if u do them that wayu, it will give your abs a bit more of a rest.

There's no real absolute rules to any types of training, not even abs. It is not necessary to execute all motions on the same day or in any particular order or with any particular set/rep scheme.
