umm,,depends wot is is u want to do?? do u want to gain muscle or tone up?? for gain muscle u want to decrease reps each set and increase the wieght!! for toning up u want to do high reps with a medium wieght!! personally i do 4 sets increasing the wieght with each set, my last set is a power set where i do 6- 8 reps of the heavest weight i can manage!!
