Just to see if how much water i'd lose while jogging I weighed myself before and after. I gained 1/2 a pound while running. Is that odd or what?
I also measured my bodyfat with a hand held analyzer before and after to see if it made a difference. I was at 11% before running and 11.7% after. I wonder what causes these discrepencies, anyone know?
I know we shouldn't be checking the scale all the time, but like I said I was doing just to see how much water I'd lost etc.. for fun. I didn't expect it to go up though! haha
It doesn't sound odd to me. I imagine as our muscles warm up and increase in size they add a little. I drink a lot of water too and being hydrated plumps up your skin I think. I could be very wrong so others feel free to correct me. I know I just feel heavier after a workout and wouldn't dream of getting on the scales...lol.
