When i am doing flat dumbell press, i am doing 70ibs and i am doing about 6 reps then around the 7th, my left arm just gives out? Is this an injury or a short term problem?

When I do db shoulder presses and incline biceps curls, my left arm always gives out before my right. it just sort of wobbles and then hangs there and makes me laugh. I can ususally get 2-3 more reps with my right.

Hey manzyy, how long have you been training for? It may just be a weakness on your left side. I had that problem a long time ago(it didn't really give out, but was more unstable), but I lightened up the weight and let my body get used to the movement of dumbells, eventually it was no problem and I have never had problems with any type of dumbell press since. Lighten up the weight some and work from there. Good luck.

I would say to lighten it up also. Focus on the movement more than the weight.
