I think i really need to invest in a pair of these. When i do deadlifts and go really heavy my hands seem to hurt pretty bad. I think i am at the point where my grip gives out before the muscles I am working do. anyone have any suggestions at some brands to use and certain types i should look into? thanks
I think what you are looking for are lifting hooks. I have a set and they are a BIG help. I was able to go almost 100lbs heavier for shrugs. I don't remember where I got them though. Try bodybuilding.com.
that's a good indication that you should focus more on strengthening your grip by doing finger/wrist exercises. As for brand names, they're all pretty much the same.
