Finishing A Day Late

I've been following a lifting program that has me doing 2-3 excercises that focus on 1-2 body parts per workout, and I lift approx. 5 days a week. For example, 3 excercises for back and 3 for bi's one day, three for shoulders and abs the next, legs after that....etc.
My question is this: If I don't have time to finish all the excercises that I usually do one day, is it a good idea to finish them the next day in addition to the workout I had planned? Like yesterday and today.....I didn't have time to get to a full back and bi workout, can I finish all the excercises today on top of my shoulder workout?
Every little bit counts right?
