I realize that 5 days cardio work out is recommend. Is there anything wrong with working out 7 days a week for 40-60 minutes? Does it make me any better or worst?

basically have atleast one day where you totally rest. no weights, no cardio. i always believe that its not how much you work out, but how intensely you work out that gets results. i do 6 days cardio, lift 3 days, and have a clean diet and it has worked wonders.

MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!!! I think this is one of the toughest things for people to adhere to. Unless you're training for competition, 7 days of 40-60min of cardio is too much. In fact, 5 days of 40-60 might be a little much. After about 30 minutes, the calories per minute burned drops significantly. After that, you'll burn calories, but not a lot and most will come from muscle tissue. That's not weight you want to lose.
