Hi,
Hope you can help? I'm currently about 7- 9lb over my usual weight of 114lb and am wanting to lose this before my holiday in May. I would also like to have a more defined look through weight training and have enlisted the help of a Personal Trainer from next week to help me with my 5 week deadline!! Do you think by dieting, exercising 5 times per week (2 Personal Training sessions per week and 3 aerobic/spinning/bodypump sessions) will help me achieve a more toned look in just 5 weeks or am I kidding myself??!! I would ideally like to lose some weight around my rear and top of my thighs plus have nice shapely arms and shoulders.

How tall are you? At 114 lbs, why on earth do you want to lose anymore weight. There is a point where such a low bodyweight can become unhealthy. Make sure you do not overdo everything and put heavy emphasis on a good clean, healthy diet. Good luck to you, but be careful.

Hi, I'm 5' 3" and although I don't want to lose too much weight I do want to tone up a bit more. I must admit that I am a bit body conscious because I put on 56lb whilst having my children and ever since then I'm a bit paranoid when it starts to creep back on.

Hi, It might be a bit difficult to lose weight because you really don't have any, but you will definetly notice definition in that time especially with a trainer - I have one and will miss her teribly, but I'm the same way - I gained 50 while preg. and I'm still not happy at 135 with way more muscle than I ever had in my life
