My program here on the site has me doing the following on M-W-F:
Pushups
Side Laterals
Curls
Calf Raises
Squats
Dips Behind Back
Seated Twists
Leg Lifts
Crunches

During weekdays, I do not have access to a gym or weights, so I am on the home training program.

Starting this coming weekend, I will be going to a gym in a town north of here on Saturday & Sunday. I had planned on making these both cardio days.

I'm looking for suggestions of a specific cardio program for these days when I'm there.

Also, can someone give suggestions of cardio I can do at home on Tuesday and Thursday?

Thanks bunches! Ya'll are the best!

I thought about doing HIIT. What is the best thing for this? Bicycling? Running? I have one HIIT program that is 12 minutes long with:
4 min @ 50% effort
4 mins w/ intervals of 20 secs 95% effort & 10 secs 50% effort
4 min @ 50% effort

Is that sufficient? I want to do what is going to work my body the most efficient with the best results, but I also don't want to over do it. Until March 10, I had not exercised at all for a good 12 years, and since March 10, I've only done light at home exercises.

Is it ok to do some kind of work out 7 days a week? I didn't know if that was too much either. If I do cardio on Tue, Thur, Sat & Sun and the at home program on Mon, Wed, and Fri is that going to be ok? Too much? Not the right combos?

LOL! Do I sound like a 2 year old with all the questions or what?

Thanks again!

I think it's probably okay to do *something* everyday, but like Ravenwolf said - too mauch and you'll burn out. A walk with a friend or relaxing bike ride is a good way to be "active" on your days off.

Ok. I thought about this on my way home from work. I agree that I don't want to over do it and burn out.

I have my M-W-F workout from the site here. And Saturday & Sunday I will be going to this gym for cardio..preferrably HIIT.

So maybe on Tuesday & Thursday, I take the dog for a walk? This would be relaxing and slow paced, but get me out of the house and off my butt.

What do ya think?

I'm a begginer at this stuff, but I'm of the opinion that anything that gets you out of the house and off your butt is a good thing.

Hmmm . . . there's virtually no back work in your routine. Lemme consult one of my books and get back to you on non-weighted back movements other than chins and pullups.
