Hello guys,
I am starting my program with Free-trainers.com tomorrow. I have been exercising for the last two-three years. Even though I have seen some results (lost some good amount of weight and my body is in better muscled-shaped) I still don't have much defined muscles (yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanna look like those guys on the magazines...he,he).
I have focused my goals to going to the gym and eating healthy. But I have heard that in order to get GREAT results I need to buy products such as creatine, protein bars, protein powder... I went out this Sunday to get some stuff, but THERE IS SOOOO MUCH STUFF IN THE STORES, I didn't know what to get. Actually, I don't know if all of this stuff is needed! Is it?
If I got stuff to buy? Does anybody have any ides as to WHAT I SHOULD GET and also, WHAT BRANDS? I know that there are some pretty buff people on this site...so, HOPEFULLY, you guy can help me out...
I will keep you guys posted on my progress...

In order to get great results, you gotta dedicate yourself to work hard, eat right, be consistent and train with utmost intensity. You don't "have to" buy supplements, even tho they do help you.
The most common supplements taken is/are creatine, whey protein, glutamine, flax seed oil, etc. To learn more about supplements in general, there is a whole section here in the forums. Please take the time to fill your profile fitPeriod.

No supplements are ever necessary. Personally, I couldn't live without my multivitamin, fish oil caps and protein powder. Everything else could disappear and I'd get over it.

Yes true. And you get your creatine from foods such as meats and it is also produced in your body, so technically you are getting creatine either way :) mackfactor.
