i've been working out for a couple months now and i have to take a trip for about a week or so and wouldnt have access to a gym or any work out facilities.....would this set me back as in my muscle growth or endurance...
No a good break will never hurt anything. If possible just do you abs and maybe some pushups or something if you are worried about it. But a week isn't going to set you back to bad. Just pick up when you get back. Have fun on your trip.
