YAY FARTLEK (sic.)

Have just discovered the joys of fartlek. Its well good.
1)5 mins. brisk walk
2)1 min jog
3)1 min sprint
Alternate no.'s 2 and 3 for 10 mins (5 times each)

Quickly move on to..!

Elliptical trainer - same thing, minus the 5 min warm up

And then to...

Exercise bike. Same thing, but followed by a 5 min warm down.

And stretch...

And relax!


It feels so great!

Some of my more msochistic cross country runner buddies used to do really evil versions of these types of workouts.
