I started the 12 week weight program 3 weeks ago. I have lifted weights for many years, but this is the first time I've had someone else structure it for me. I used to normally add 5-10 pounds for each set, doing 3-4 sets of 10. In this program where I start with 16 reps then go to 8 for the next set, how much weight should I be adding?

It really depends on your goals. If you're gunning for mass, then fatigue is your answer and running to failure on each set might be a good idea. If it's strength you're after, you're doing the wrong workout.
