hi... i recentley started a nutrition plan... i consume about 315-341 grams of protein a day... i was just wondering if this is not enough or maybe too much? It also seems as though they want me to eat alot of carbs and wheight gain drinks along with protein drinks, 20g in the morning, 40g after training, and 20g before i go to bed... I just want to make sure im eating the right thing... i train 5 days a week, and do 30 min cardio twice a week... thanks...
Eric.

Hi ericb, I am assuming your goal is mass gain, Protein intake should be around 1.5 to 2 g per lb of body weight. also assuming you are starting out. The only way to gain mass is to eat and work out. Make sure your diet is clean (good food) no junk. good luck a little more in your profile sure would help ie your size, height, weight, goals etc.

I generally use 1.5g/lb of bodyweight as a ceiling and 1g/lb as a floor.
