there are times that my feet cramp up when i do my calf training. is this normal? i would think not, so am i doing something wrong? i do feel 'the burn' while i do my exercises, but its in conjunction with the foot cramping. the cramping is quite uncomfortable and stops me from doing more reps or more weight sometimes. help!

It might be how you are doing the exercise, dehydration and/or low levels of potassium.

It also might be how your shoes fit. The shoes might be worn out.

you should feel them burn but it you have a sudden jerk pulled in ur muscle that means you either strecthed wrong or preform the rep in a non safe way

Make sure that you stretch your calves well before and do something to warm up. Start off with a light weight until you get used to it, then gradually increase the weight. This should help.
