Tuesday - Shoulders, back, 'Annie'

I was tired this morning - didn?t get to bed on time last night, so I was pleasantly suprised at the amount of energy I had lifting - felt really good and the Gaspari Superpump seems to give me nice steady energy, no jiterry jumpiness. I even got in a cardio session of the Crossfit "annie" routine afterwards, though I am still working on double unders, so it was all singles today (also testing out my feet?). the verdict afterwards - I feel FANTASTIC!!!!!! I feel so good, I am like a high person, lol. Giddy that I did ?annie? after lifting and 1) my feet don?t hurt..2) I didn?t need to puke and 3) I feel like I still have the energy to do some housework and gardening! YAY!

So here was the workout :

Warm- up 1 song on the treadmill..about 4 1/2 minutes

Standing military presses 55X12, 60×10, 65X8, 75X8

DB laterals 15?sx8, 20?sX8 2sets

Cable bentover laterals 3 sets 15/sideX8

BB curls 45X12, 50X10, 55X8, 60X6

Incline DB curls 20?sX8, 20"sx6/15?sX2 (I thinkI didn?t rest the full amount of time inbetween sets, cuz the next set after proper rest?20?sX8 go figure. Did I mention I hate incline db curls?

Machine curls (next week I will do preachers cuz that amchine there was no way to get a comfortable angle that didn?t make my elbows hurt or feel like my wrists were really funky?) 2 sets 40X8

Then the decision - I knew I needed cardio, I realized I forgot to do abs yesterday?did the elliptical yesterday, someone I don?t like much is on the treadmills and would lead to forced small talk?.. so I thought - hey, Nadine and I have been talking so much about Crossfit routines - no better time than the present!

I did ?annie? It took me about 12 minutes. I did single jumps and the first 50 sit-ups were full sit-ups with a yoga mat under my back (of course I left the ab mat at home ), the rest of the sets of sit-ups sort of turned into 10-20 full sit-ups and the remainder crunches, lol. But I think that will be a good goal - to do the whole routine with full sit ups, I figure if I beat the number of full sit-ups each time, I am making progress, lol.

Okay - having an odd rubbery protein puck (tried a new recipe for a brownie and won?t list it here ) and then going to garden !!
