Isn't it funny what a simple little comment can do for you? I think I need to spend more time looking at people's logs and giving encouragement!
Thursday was good, a bit of a mental struggle at the end of the day, I wanted to order pizza instead of cooking and I kept seeing the top of an energy drink in the fridge that looked like a beer can.. talked myself out of it all and made a really good, healthy dinner, had a hot bath after dinner and went to bed. Feel a million times better this morning than if I had given in to my urges!
My energy levels are building and on Monday i will begin my workouts, see if my energy holds or flags and see how i recover. Going to keep the workout mild and total body for a while.
Thursday's food:
Thursday, December 1st
6-7am 1 egg, 4 whites, spinach, cayenne pepper and a little mozzarella cheese (Omelet style)
2 slices hunger filler bread, with olive oil spread
Coffee, splenda
8am - still hungry (that bread didn’t live up to it’s name!) banana
9:30-10 am small green apple, almonds
12:30-1pm leftover curried veg soup
Chicken breast with cheese and broccoli
4:30 trail mix (almonds, sunflower seeds, apricots, cranberries, pumpkin seeds)
8:15 Barley pilaf with nuts and dried fruit in it
Extra lean ground beef
Chopped vegetables salad - cukes, red onion, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, feta cheese, parsley, olive oil
My energy levels were really good today! I feel like I am getting better. I was really wiped out by 8pm, but I hadn’t napped at all and my energy was pretty good until then.
It is sort of sad that I consider it a really successful day if I got the dishes done and cooked dinner. But that is a big deal for me right now, that is how tired I was.
I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
