sorry for lack of entries

...i have been working out, just not logging it here. i am seriously embarassed about my numbers right now. i'm out of protein and i feel like i'm not doing much during my workouts.

i made my softball team so that's been a really great source of exercise. i want to add some dynamic exercises to my routine to build power. i have lost a lot of the pop i used to have on the ball...add to my weaknesses a rotator cuff that looks like it's been through a meat grinder and you have a throw from short to first that has gone from about 80mph to 50mph.

so here is the deal. i want to start a new training split, but i am really, really inexperienced with powerlifting outside of the deadlift, so i'm afraid to start this for fear of screwing myself up.

i'm currently researching 100% of gator's posts to try and put something together, but any input is welcome. power cleans are definitely something i want to add, but i've never done them and don't want to start without proper instruction. i'm no dummy.

p.s. twisted my ankle pretty bad sunday going for a grounder up the middle. the practice field we were on had base markers still in the infield and i stepped on it lunging for the catch. ouch. so i'm only doing upper body this week...and a lot of writing the alphabet with my left big toe.
