Slept in...
8:30ish I made 1 egg, 3 whites, scrambled with mushrooms and cilantro and fajita seasoning, had them in 2 small lo-carb wraps and a dash of hot sauce, last spoonful of guacamole.
Got everything together and got in the car for another day of hiking/letterboxing.
10:30ish we ate reduced fat pringles in the car...and diet coke
Hiked at 2 different parks (first one was the wrong location, but we walked quite a ways to be sure...)...hungry!!!
1:00 shrimp and lobster ceasar salad, 1 cheddar biscuit (figured i needed the carbs for the walk after lunch)
After lunch we went on another walk/hike. We walked in this cool, hidden park area that used to be where new immigrants lived when they first arrived. Now all that is left is a walking trail and the occasional stones in the woods. There is a cool creek running through and a neat sort of monument that is a stone with a window in it where one of the houses used to stand. We considered creating a letterbox route here, until we ran into some drunk homeless people who libe in the bushes and decided maybe it isn't the best place to send families....
Dinner - healthy harvest rotini with extra lean ground beef, ragu sauce, asiago and parmesan. Steamed cauliflower with pesto sauce.
Snack - 2 mini extra dark chocolate bars and later some popcorn (while playing games with the in-laws).
wow - We hiked nearly every day this week - my feet hurt at the end of the day, but I feel really good and this morning (Sunday) I feel really well-rested and my feet feel pretty good!
