Oh the pain!

I am finally feeling like I can bend over slightly on my own without avoiding the use of my back muscles.

Went into the gym yesterday and did some leg work but not much.. very very sore from the deadlifts. Quads were a little tight, chest was pleasantly sore, but holy smokes did I smoke those back muscles. Not pain, just soreness and lots of it.

So I did 3 sets of hack squats without discomfort, stuck with my usual 70 lbs; 15x, 12x, 10x. Did single leg presses with toes out to hit my outer thighs better.. got a good burn at 70 lbs there, strange how on the hack machine I use two 35 lb plates for both legs, then on the leg press machine I can go to 70 lbs (rack) with just one leg. Next time I'm going to try to go heavy and see just what I can get a few reps in at, I am probably underestimating myself.

Back loosened up as I went along but had time constraints so I finished with a superset of reverse lunges and stepups and called it a day.

We had an extra doggy yesterday, my brother-in-law was out of town so hubby and I took the two girls for a 2 mile walk after dinner. He doesn't like to walk as fast as I do but the doggies pulled him along anyways!! : ]
