so the weather is great outside — i should know, i just ran 2.2 miles — but i'm seriously starting to reconisder running outside in houston. i've been reading air quality studies that my paper has been running in a toxics series, and i'm starting to wonder how beneficial this is to my health. while i hate the treadmill for anything other than h.i.i.t, i might find myself leaning toward it more in the immediate future. there are just so many refineries and ports in the houston area, not to mention a heavy traffic load and a large public transit system. it's just not clean. sigh.
