Here i am

Yesterday we went snowtubing - whoa, my upper body is sore from hanging on to the rope that pulls you uphill! My mittens were all wrong for it and my hands are rope=burnt. Oh well, it was fun!

Today: Chest and biceps

Flatbench press BB
1 warm-up 95lbsX10
slightly heavier set 105X6
even heavier 125X3
2 working sets 130X6 130X6

DB incline chest press
mod heavy set 35X6
2 working sets 40X6, 40X6

Standing biceps bb curl
warm-up 45lbsX10
moderate weight 50X8
2 working sets 55X5 55X5 these were tough

standing alternate DB curls
mod heavy 15lbsX8
working sets 20X6, 20X6

The benching felt good, new rep scheme for me, and i like it - I think I used to do too many reps fopr warm-up sets and then not have anything left to get into the heavier sets. it will be interesting to see how my progress is with this new rep scheme.
The biceps were a little uncomfortable - I have never liked straight bb curls, but I committed to this plan and did them anyways. I felt like I could have gone heavier if my shoulders weren't so sore from yesterday, I think next week will be better.

So, I am back and I intend to remain on track.
