4 - month challenge - Day 3!!

I definitely think I am fighting off a cold, but that always seems to happen when I begin a new routine/diet. I will just take cold medicine and soldier through...oh and my calves are so sore I am walking like a zombie or something. I think my husband said bigfoot...icy hot is my friend.

7:25 Not very hungry at breakfast so I had my oats and some whey protein mixed with water. And some dayquil :)

8:30 rode the recumbent for 35 minutes, played halo, still got my heart rate up...

10:30 muscle milk

12:30 Healthy valley 14 vegetable fat free soup, 4 oz chicken (one can of the veggie soup equals the amount of carbs I need for that meal, very nice!)

1:45 workout...more dayquil first...
6 minute warm-up on elliptical. My calves are loosening up.
I did the abs as a triple set to get them over with so a set of crunches, one side of the obliques, a set of reverse curls and then the other side of obliques. 3 sets 20 of each. OUCH.

Squats 65/15, 85/15, 95/15,100/15
Leg press 100/15, 110/15, 120/15
leg curls (someone was using the extension..)60/15,3 sets of 70/15
leg extension 40/15 3 sets 50/15
seated calf raise (sux) 45/15, 45/10, 25/10 no more calves!!!!
calf raises, bodyweight 3 sets of 15 really slow and long rests while stretching the poor suckers out.

3:15 I had my shake while stretching...a better workout than I had expected!

I am going to make some chicken soup tonight for my dinner and then have whey protein again before bed. Not very hungry.
