4 - month challenge - 2nd month, first Wednesday - and I'm gonna hurt tomorrow!

Well, got a little fiesty this morning and did my morning cardio at the dog park, climbing hills and doing slow running intervals...my foot is a little sore, but I was so elated to be running comfortably! I guess dirt trails is what I needed. So, about 40 minutes, constant brisk walking with slow run intervals, as long as I could run for. The dogs really liked it, too!

And the workout, holy bedelia. Fly had to have the bright idea to try the new routine today..so, of course I decided to do it, too. Can I just say I thought I was gonna die?

Here is how it went, i hope it improves next week, pretty sad in some spots :)

Warm-up 4 minutes elliptical
abs 3 sets 24 of each crunches/oblique crunches/reverse curls
Squats 125X12 125x12 125X12 superset with plie squats 3 sets bwX20

walking lunges 10lb db's 3 sets 12 reps superset with
jump squats (this is the really sucky part) 3 sets bwX12

Step-ups 3 sets 12lb db's X12 superset with
reverse lunges bwX15, bwX12, bwX12

db SLDL 3 sets 20'sX12 superset with
glute raise on the ball 3 sets 20

Sweatier than ever, bright red, god awful, gonna hurt tomorrow. Wonderful. And I decided that in Feb I am going to hire the trainer at the gym to help me bring up some lagging bodyparts for competing in October. For some reason that decision has made me oddly calm.
