3/29/07 - The Little Black Ink Pen..

Today was a rough day for Dottie and myself. Her nice monthly just came, I was just totally exhausted from lack of sleep and stress over my writing incident. I took Dottie shopping and we bought little notebooks to take along with us while we work out to track our exact exercises, reps, weights, etc. She suggested we buy a pack of multiple colored ink pens to track the moods we are in each day so I went for it. We get into the gym tonight, 1 hour late by the way, but we made it, Dottie was dragging and I wasn't up to par either, still fighting this cold. She takes out her notebook and has a green ink colored pen, I asked her what the green meant, she said she didn't know it was the first one she grabbed from her truck and that is that. We proceeded to work out and once we hit the chest exercises, she noticed I had the little black ink pen with me. She asked, what does black stand for you? I told her, black means, yeah I am not feeling good, and yeah I am exhausted, and yeah we started late,but black means, despite all those things I am gonna kick major ass tonight in the gym and complete everything I don't feel like completing. I know you feel like crap and I don't feel well, so lets feel like crap together and show these weights whose boss! She said RIGHT ON! LET's DO IT!

I taught her what spotting was, we rooted each other on to hit our targets we set for the day and finished them all! It was an awesome day for us at the gym.

2 cups coffee w/ 1 tsp nf creamer
2 biscuits w 1/2 cup sausage gravy (Okay so i cheated!)
1 Protein Bar
Turkey Spinach Wrap w/sun dried tomatoe wrap FF
1 cup carrots/Protein Shake
6 oz Chicken Breast Grilled with Poblano Cream Sauce
1 cup Asparagus
1 cup white rice
1 egg 3 egg white scramble with 1/4C spinach
1 1000mcg fish oil
