Week Six/Day Two

Okay... so there is the nice informal challenge between me and this gal at the gym. She is quite strong in the legs and is also very competitive. Turns out I am too. Competitive that is. Didn't really think I was, but hey... I am, I guess. Plus, I like a challenge every now and again.
About a month ago she told me she could leg press 420 pounds. So, I took that as a challenge and haven't looked back! I have a mission... 500 pounds by the end of the year. Ii'm pretty confident I'll be able to reach that. She has also apparently pulled a hamstring a few weeks ago... I hope she heals soon. Reall, I mean that.
I was overly excited today, as it was Leg Day...
Warm Up: Three minutes on eliptical
Leg Press: 160lbsx10/210lbsx8/300lbsx6/440lbsx7 (was gonna try for 450, but didn't want to push too hard and hurt myself.)
Leg Xtns: 8px10/9px8/10px6/14px6
DB SLDL: 20lbsx10/25lbsx8/35lbsx6/40lbsx6
Smith Squats: 40lbsx10/60lbsx8/65lbsx6/70lbsx6
SL Calf Raises: 30lbsx10x4
I love Leg Day.
On my way out, I told my competitor that I pushed 440. She didn't have very nice things to say. Then I added I would do 500 by the end of the year. I guess the gauntlet has been thrown down.
