Okay... some good news today...
I'm about midway through the fitness challenge I'm in at the local college... they do some measurments (BMI, weight, etc.) and come up with a score. Along with that, I'm keeping track of it myself with a website (www.mybodycomp.com)... now, the website isn't totally accurate as it uses a measuring tape and may vary depending upon the person measuring. Either way, it's a good guide and will tell you if you are going in the right direction.
Turns out, according to the website, since August 29th to today (November 6th) I've gained 6.65 pounds of muscle and lost 2.7 pounds of fat. I don't totally agree, but none the less I like what the numbers say. The bodyfat dropped from 17.85% to 16.11%. That I like... would really like to be down to around 12 or 15%. Then I'd be a real happy camper. (guess I should lay off the beer and nachos for a while!)
So, all in all, it's looking good.
Today's workout is as follows.
Start: 10:04am
Finish: 11:30am (approx)
Warm Up: Three minutes on the mini-trampoline
BB Incline: 65lbsx10/75lbsx10/85lbsx8/95lbsx7
DB Incline Flyes: 15lbsx10/20lbsx10/30lbsx8/35lbsx7
BB Flat Bench: 65lbsx10/75lbsx10/85lbsx8/110lbsx8
Push Ups (on ball) 10/10/10 (toes as fulcrum)/10 (toes as fulcrum)
Frog Crunches: 2x15
Leg Raises: 2x15
Ball Obliques: 2x15
So, there ya go.. did this at home today as the week ahead is a little goofy... don't wanna miss a workout if I don't have to.
Also, passed my AFLCA (Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association) theory course... next test is for Resistance Training.
Today looks as though it'll be positive!
