Week One of 8 wk Wt loss Challenge!
Normally I'd do 3X wt training and 3X Cardio, but because of the holiday Monday I'll do 2X wts (Wed/Fri) 3X cardio (Tues/Thurs/Sun). Today I ran outside for 5km at a good pace. It was warmer than I thought and I was soaked by the end of it.
Today marks the 1st day of a 8 week challenge to loose 15lbs. My main plan of attack is to eat high protien, low carb, EFA's and tons of veggies. The biggest challenge will be to cut alcohol (namely beer) and to eat healthy thru the weekends. 8 weeks is a blip on the calendar, so I know I can do this!! The exercise part is easy the diet will be the challenge. Lots of chicken, tuna, eggs, lean beef and veggies!!
I've also signed up with my PT for 1 session/week for the 8weeks, so this will keep me motivated as well. First session starts Friday.
