Week Four/Day Three

Start Time: 12:50pm

Warmup - three minutes on the recumbent bike
Leg Press: 5x5x160lbs
Single Leg Press: 5x5x70lbs
Calf Raises on LP: 50x70lbs/45x70lbs/35x70lbs
Leg Xtns: 5x5x8p
Ham Curls: 5x5x4p
DB Lunges: 5x5x20lbs (still hate these)
Reverse Calf Raises: 30x3
Crunches: 5x5x25lbs
Leg Raises: 5x5
Chins: 5/5/5/5/2

I truly thought I was gonna get all fives today... I believe the difference may be I finish with these on non-back days... Monday is the day I've set for the goal of all fives... it's back day and I do them first on back day.. so, we'll see if my theory holds true.

Actually, the last set was 2 and a half, but I'm thinking a half rep is about as good as no rep. ;)

Four weeks complete... love this 5x5 thing. I can't really see any changes but I think my arms are a little bigger. I'll measure them in a few weeks and check body fat and all that jazz. I like the cardio aspect of this... the heart rate today hit about 156 which is about 85% of my max. I can really see how this shocks the system and is a good plateau breaker.

Looking forward to Monday! (Never thought I'd ever say that !)
