Week 2 of personal 12 week Goal

The weekend went well. I took saturday as a rest day because both my legs and arms were still very sore from last weeks workouts! I went swimming on Sunday-very tough workout. Today I have both Pilates and swimming, so I'm never too sure what to do at the gym. I don't want to tire out my upper body, but Tuesday is leg day....I'll figure this all out sooner or later. I have no idea if or how I'll work in Amy's workout!

Here's what I ended up doing at the gym today...

5 min run on treadmill (I'm too impatient to just walk, but when I run I spend the whole time pulling up my pants because they're not tight enough to jog in...I must look like an idiot--guess it would be worse if I just let them fall (;

3 sets squats body wt/BW with pause in middle/jump squats

smith squats 25/75/125lb

wide lat PD 60/70/80lb

SL DL's 45/65/85lb

calf raises 80/100/100lb

stretch to cool down.

While in the parking lot a gentleman commented on my good workout form and asked if I had taken training at the gym. Made me feel good that someone thought I know what I'm doing in the gym! Also an ego boost to know someone's watching....I think.....

Diet is going very well. Little more wine than I'd planned over the weekend due to unexpected company, but all in all, pretty good. I can already see my body tightening up--wooho.
