.. Wed...Week 4 of 7 Tri training....20km bike ride today

Someone gave me a good 20km route to ride from work, so off I went over the lunch hour. It went well...took me 48 min, which is a bit long. I'd like to get it under 45min, but I guess I had to stop for lights etc. There were some good hills along the way, so that was good training. I'm sure appreciating my strong quads--thanks to squats and lunges! It's interesting to see how my strength gained from wt training is transfering to my tri training.

On a down note...I'm suffering from plantar fiacia in the form of extreme heel pain. At the moment it is only really bad when I get up in the morning, but it still hurts somewhat all day long. Going to see my PT about it. Just add this to my ongoing list of sports related injuries /;

Other than that, I'm still really enjoying this training.
